Colorminium is passionate about social responsibility and focusses on three key strands and where we can make the difference.

Apprenticeships:
Colorminium recognise the need to invest in the skills our industry needs for the future. Where appropriate, apprentices are recruited to either work for us or our supply chain for a fixed period. It ensures that young people get the right experience, skills and qualifications to progress into permanent employment should they choose the career route.

Local Employment:
Colorminium are committed to offering appropriately skilled local people the opportunity to increase their skills through working on our projects. Working in close collaboration with a number of agencies, we strive to make this commitment a reality by sourcing ‘job-ready’ candidates for vacancies that occur.

Charity:
Part of our adherence to social responsibility is to ensure that those less privileged than ourselves are supported through charitable giving.

Annually, a range of charities benefit from a cut of the profits we produce, this includes specific disasters and appeals that sadly arise each year around the world such as the Ebola crisis in West Africa (UNICEF) and the Nepal Earthquake crisis, but also through our ongoing support for charities including, The Children’s Air Ambulance, Teenage Cancer Trust, Royal London Society for Blind People and St Christophers Hospice.
