Design Manager, Mauro Barradas of Colorminium attended the Quality in Construction Summit earlier this month, where a number of professionals in the industry shared their knowledge and experience. The event was aimed at professionals who have a quality-related remit within the construction sector, at a strategic or operational level.

With a range of speakers covering many different subjects, the summit opened with David Frise, CEO of FIS going over the three variances for a successful project which are; Does the project meet the required specification, is it on time, and is it on budget? Following this Craig Small, Senior Construction Manager of Kier Infrastructure, discussed why a quality construction plan is so important to your business. The summit concluded with Mike Buss, Head of Quality at Construction Special Interest, sharing his plan of how to prepare an inspection test plan.

Thank you to all the speakers for their insights, and for this invaluable face to face networking opportunity to learn, share and develop ideas, to improve quality levels within our organisations and sector.
