Available positions:
Business Support Administrator

Do you want to be part of the Business Support team, who everyone relies on to keep everything running smoothly in the office?

Working closely with the Office Manager, as part of the business support team, you will have a varied role including a range of administrative tasks, to provide support across the Company.  This is a full time position, based in our Chelmsford office 5 days a week. Hours are 8:00/8:30 to 17:00.

The role includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • responsible for taking and handling incoming calls and enquiries
  • liaising with external travel company to arrange travel for the team
  • finding and arranging external meeting rooms, as requested
  • responsible for keeping abreast of the teams food/drink requirements and organising necessary food deliveries
  • meeting and greeting visitors to the office
  • performing daily checks of the office, ensuring stock is up to date and the areas remain tidy (although not responsible for cleaning)
  • regular reporting and following up of timesheets and reports across the company

An excellent opportunity for someone seeking to gain further experience and be part of a fast paced, professional environment.  Our ideal candidate will have the ability to flex between various tasks, with strong communication skills and high level of IT literacy.

Project Director

An integral player in the team at Colorminium! Responsible to lead and deliver exceptional projects from cradle to grave with client satisfaction, product quality, profit levels and team engagement.

As PD you will have responsibility for all client-side project stakeholder satisfaction in regard to the performance of Colorminium at project level. Leading a team to hit project programme dates, your team will implement all statutory regulatory and company requirements for Health and Safety.

As well as delivering projects, you’ll work alongside the pre-construction team on key opportunities identified, providing guidance and knowledge of the façade industry to assist with the façade strategy of upcoming projects.

Senior Structural Engineer

Are you an innovative and passionate structural engineer with experience working on multiple complex UK façade projects?

This is a wide ranging role working across projects from RIBA Stage 2 through to Construction. You will be involved in award winning projects through their complete lifecycle.

More specifically the role includes:

  • Early concept engineering and calculations on consultancy projects
  • Tender support – e.g. glass and profile statics checks
  • Monitoring and challenging of other engineers calculations in Operations
  • Design optimisation – pushing boundaries and finding a better way to make things simpler and more cost effective

Our ideal candidate has IEng/CEng MICE and additional experience in thermal and/or carbon calculations is valued.
