The Curve in Slough will be the first project Colorminium have successfully delivered with a fully co-ordinated 3D BIM design. The project which was secured at the beginning of 2014, was designed in 3D due to the very complex cladding and geometry. With the building curved on plan and in vertical section, the interfacing with the steel frame was critical and likewise the alignment of the panels, particularly the curved ones. Once complete, the visually stunning building will be testament to the design process.
