Royal visit for opening of the New Academic Building

HM the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh officially opened the LSE’s new Academic Building today. In a ceremony that gave a great accolade to the remarkable building that has taken over 2 years and £46m to build, the Queen was given a tour of the building and met with some of the donors, contractors and consultants that delivered the scheme.
