Unitised installation at Guys & St Thomas’ Hospital gathers momentum

A complex hanging steel structure from the roof of the hospital has taken nearly 2 months to install to provide a structure for the unitised glazing. With this now complete and the steel walkways all in position, the unitised glazing has commenced and is speeding ahead.

The panels are 3.5m x 4m and are being installed with roof hoisting from mastclimbers.
