Message from our CEO: A Review of 2025

As I reflect on 2025, the theme that defines the year for me is ‘1 per cent’ – the rule that describes how a combination of small, daily improvements leads to significant long-term gains. That principle has been at the heart of our progress.

Across every department, I’ve watched a steady, meaningful increase in momentum, driven not by large, headline-grabbing shifts but by individuals and teams consistently choosing to do just a little more each day. That discipline has shaped our growth and strengthened the culture we continue to develop.

This year, our delivery has shown exactly what that extra 1 per cent looks like in practice. On projects such as 20 Carlton House Terrace, Trinity House, Vitrum, 20 Giltspur Street, 65 Gresham Street and Fabrica, our teams have clearly demonstrated commitment and resilience. Tight programmes, constrained sites and complex design challenges were met with agility and determination. I’ve heard clients comment on our professionalism, technical capability and the passion our people bring to façade work – reflections that speak to the commitment and consistency I see throughout the business.

We’ve also strengthened our team, welcoming new colleagues and investing in development for those already here. This combination has deepened our expertise and reinforced a culture where continuous improvement is the norm.

Looking ahead, 2026 marks Colorminium’s 50th anniversary – a milestone few in our industry reach. It’s a testament to adaptability, resilience and a commitment to excellence that has carried us through five decades. While we’ll celebrate this achievement, we know the year ahead will bring new challenges and opportunities. If we continue to back each other and apply that extra 1 per cent every day, I’m confident we’ll make our next fifty years as successful as our first.

Here’s to 2025 – a year of meaningful progress – and to 2026, a landmark year for Colorminium.
